Come Together – Le Chéile, perform in front of thousands of spectators, march through the historic medieval streets, and become part of Kilkenny’s living tradition. The Kilkenny Patrick’s Day Parade invites entries from Community Groups, Sports Clubs, Performers, Musicians, Creatives, Youth Groups, Local organisations and Local Businesses. Entries are open now and close on Friday 20th February 2026.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is powered by local spirit, and we love welcoming schools, clubs, arts collectives, and community organisations to the parade.

Whether you want to showcase your creativity, highlight your activity, or simply march with pride alongside your community, this is your chance to shine.

What you need to know ?

  • Floats should be creative and engaging and add to the spectacle of the Parade.
  • The use of vehicles is limited and Parade organisers should be contacted should you wish to use a vehicle as part of your float.
  • There is a small entry fee for local business floats.
  • Complete the Parade application form to apply. Or contact parade@stpatricksfestivalkilkenny.com for more info.

St. Patrick s Festival Kilkenny 2024 1

Community groups, performers, youth groups, local businesses, musicians and creatives are invited to participate in Kilkenny’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Tuesday 17th March at 1.30pm. To take part in the 2026 Parade please read the terms and conditions, complete all fields and submit this form. Last date for entries is Friday 20th February 2026.

The 2026 Theme is ‘Together – Le Chéile’. Whether it’s telling stories around a fire, playing camogie in the field, or showing up for your community – the world is better when we come together. So come together and celebrate in Kilkenny this St. Patrick’s Day! Tell us your stories, show us your passions and showcase your community with colourful, creative and engaging entries. There are prizes for the best groups!
