However, a number of colourful snakes have recently been spotted amongst the trees and plants at Castlecomer Discovery Park! We need your help to find them on our family-friendly orienteering trail. The Plastic Free 4 Kids Programme, run by Tara Shine and her company Change by Degrees is a free 8-lesson plan for children, especially aligned with the curriculum for 3rd-6th. Start these 10-minute lessons here and learn how to become a Plastic Free Ambassador for your school. You can watch them at home or let your teacher know so your class can get involved.

Like most iconic landmarks in the world, this St. Patrick’s Day, Kilkenny County Council and local communities will be turning the city and county green. Historic buildings in our city and county will be lit up in our favourite emerald glow from the 10th - 19th March.
