Like all the most iconic landmarks in the world, this St. Patrick’s week, Kilkenny County Council will be turning the city green.

Iconic landmarks and laneways in our city will be lit up in our favourite emerald glow, so take stroll around and see Kilkenny in a new light.

Kilkenny in green locations include: The Tholsel, Kilkenny Courthouse, Rothe House, St. Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny County Hall, The Butterslip Lane, Market Lane, the Heritage Council, Watergate Theatre, and St. Luke’s Hospital.

If you’re snapping a pic, why not tag us and use the hashtag #KilkennyinGreen

If you cannot get out, don’t worry you can check our Youtube channel and see our 2021 greening.

Top Tip: Talk a walk across St. Francis’ bridge for a panoramic view of several Kilkenny in Green locations.
