Gardening for Biodiversity is all about rethinking how you see your garden and deciding to include areas that can be a home for a variety of native species. By changing your perception of what a garden should look like, you can replicate wild Irish habitats like woodland, hedgerow, meadow, wetland and bog in your garden. This St. Patrick’s Day join Monica Fleming for a tutorial on how to introduce Biodiversity into your garden.
Monica is a Native Wildflower expert working with Irish Wildflower company Design by Nature, she has run many courses on how to Garden for Nature and is a Horticulture Tutor with Carlow Kilkenny ETB. Join us on St. Patrick’s Day and start gardening for biodiversity. You’ll be rewarded with an abundance of insects, birds and mammals using your garden and you’ll be doing your part to halt the decline in biodiversity on our planet.
